Verstappen angry at organisation in Vegas: 'I look like a clown'

Max Verstappen is not at all a fan of all the activities he has to perform in Las Vegas. ''You look like a clown,'' is one of the Dutchman's statements to The Race. The Red Bull Racing driver is clearly not hiding his opinion.
After Grands Prix in Austin and Miami, everyone knew what to expect from Las Vegas. Yes, there is an F1 race weekend, but people mainly come there for the show. That show is what Liberty Media has pulled off, but not everyone is happy about it. Verstappen in particular opposes this.
Verstappen complains about jet lag
"For me you can all skip these kinds of things," said Verstappen ahead of the race weekend in Las Vegas. For instance, the drivers were lifted up on a stage to wave to the fans. "It’s just standing up there, [you] look like a clown." Verstappen is clear.
Verstappen is not a big fan of street racing in the first place, nor is he keen on the 'boring' circuit in America. What angers Verstappen most, however, is the fact that after Las Vegas, a trip to Abu Dhabi is scheduled, resulting in intense jet lag.
"It’s already a 12-hour difference but also a completely different timezone because basically we live on a Japanese time schedule [in Vegas] but then almost on a different day. I don’t really get that. That is very tiring. It’s the end of the season that we have to do this, it doesn’t really make a lot of sense."
