The Las Vegas Grand Prix first happened in 1982. The Caesars Palace event was won by Michele Alboreto with his Tyrell on a completely different layout, with John Watson and Eddie Cheever completing the Top 3. The return of the Las Vegas Grand Prix was first announced in March 2022. The Grand Prix has already made the news with its expensive tickets and ideas of shielding the windows of trackside restaurants and hotels to avoid fans watching the event for free.
