Formula 1 ticket prices for the Las Vegas Grand Prix are among the most expensive on the F1 calendar. Ahead of the first GP at the brand new street circuit, however, the race weekend is not yet sold out, and it shows in the prices.

Prices for Las Vegas GP plummet

Where just a month ago you had to pay a minimum of $385 for Thursday, $825 for Friday and $1,645 for Saturday's race day. Currently, tickets have dropped considerably in price - note: these are online marketplaces, where people resell their tickets - though they are still anything but cheap.

At the time of writing, the cheapest tickets for Thursday have dropped 58 per cent to $162. For Friday, when qualifying is held, there is an even bigger price drop: tickets for the day have dropped 62 per cent and now cost a minimum of $312. Ticket prices for Saturday see a smaller but still hefty price drop of 34 per cent and are now available from $1,087. Many nearby hotel prices have also dropped by more than half.
