Formula 3 have made an announcement on which team will compete in the junior class between 2025 and 2027. With the departure of the Swiss team Jenzer Motorsport, a new team will be on the grid, with DAMS becoming the tenth team on the grid from 2025 until 2027.

Who will participate in the 2025-2027 F3 championship?

The French team DAMS already competes in Formula 2, with Jak Crawford and Juan Manuel Correa, both Americans, racing for them in the other junior formula series. Invicta Racing were hoping to become the tenth team involved in Formula 3, but they were beaten by DAMS to the final spot, with the championship-leading team in Formula 2 with Gabriel Bortoleto not joining F3 in the coming years.

These are the following teams who will be returning to the grid: AIX Racing, ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, Hitech Grand Prix, MP Motorsport, PREMA Racing, Rodin Motorsport, Trident and Van Amersfoort Racing.

Bruno Michel, F3 CEO, said the following about DAMS' entry: "We welcome DAMS to the list of selected teams. We know them very well from the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Their pedigree and level of performance make them the perfect addition to the F3 field."
