Honda inspired by their greatest heroes: Ayrton Senna and Max Verstappen
In their latest promotional video, Honda decided to include two three-time world champions, Ayrton Senna and Max Verstappen, both of whom achieved their titles togehter with the Japanese brand as their engine supplier.
The video shows Senna and Verstappen facing setbacks in their careers, but they could overcome difficulties to become Formula One champions. Incidentally, the Japenese brand used footage of the controversial crash between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen from the 2021 British Grand Prix, where Hamilton tried to down the inside of the Dutchman entering Copse, but he tapped Verstappen's right rear tyre knocking him out of contention.
Verstappen fourth '21 title in Abu Dhabi
At the time, Verstappen had to be transported to the hospital, and had a severe concussion. At the end of the season however, the Dutchman won the title in Abu Dhabi. Footage of that historic moment has also been incorporated into the video by Honda.
