The second day of Pirelli's tyre tests are over. Liam Lawson (VCARB) and Oliver Bearman (Ferrari), got to do plenty of laps in Formula 1 cars especially for the Italian tyre brand. GPblog lists you the results of the tests.

Grand Prix-like distances for Lawson, but Bearman surpasses

On the straights of the Monza circuit - where Charles Leclerc won the Italian Grand Prix last weekend - Lawson was allowed to drive the Formula 1 car of Red Bull Racing's sister team, VCARB. The New Zealander had long distance drive in Monza, completing a whopping 76 laps. His best time was a 1:22.530. The session did not go smoothly for Lawson, as Red Bull's reserve driver suffered a technical problem to his car.

At Ferrari's own circuit, Fiorano, Bearman drove about twice as many laps as Lawson. The Briton - who was recently confirmed at Haas for 2025 - drove a whopping 167 laps in the SF-24. Bearman's fastest time is not known, but the Ferrari junior tested on rain and intermediate tyres.

Earlier this week, Lawson was allowed to test in Monza for the Red Bull Racing, along with Mercedes' George Russell. Pirelli's next test will take place at the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit in Spain on 17 and 18 September. There, Aston Martin may then test tyres for 2026.
