Stefano Domenicali is very happy to see that his prediction has come true, he told Motorsport.com. The Italian Formula One Group boss stated at the start of the season that he did not think there would be a dominant season for one driver in 2024.

At the beginning of the season, Red Bull was still relatively ahead of the competition. From the Miami Grand Prix onwards, however, this changed. Lando Norris won the race after a fortunate safety car moment. In every race since then, McLaren has been competitive, while Mercedes too have now made huge strides towards the top.

Domenicali therefore states, "I am very happy to say that what I said at the beginning of the year is exactly what is happening. At the time, everyone thought I was saying that for political reasons. This will certainly continue until the end of 2025. This element of sporting action and sporting drama is definitely there."

After 2025, new rules will be introduced, which will reshuffle the cards. Until then, the current regulations will be raced. So, if Domenicali is to be believed, there will be excitement in Formula 1 until the rules change.
