The Belgian Grand Prix is scheduled for the upcoming weekend. The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is the longest circuit on the calendar. These are the tyres Pirelli is bringing for the upcoming race weekend.

The upcoming race weekend is important. It is the last weekend before Formula One takes a three week break for summer. Whilst Sergio Perez will want to prove his performance to Red Bull, Max Verstappen will be looking for a win, after going three races without a victory. McLaren will also want to close the gap to the Austrian team, after they moved behind them in the Constructors on Sunday.

These are Pirelli's tyres for GP Belgium

The Spa-Francorchamps circuit has many corners through which the cars go at high speed. Pirelli therefore reports that the circuit is one of those with the highest tyre wear. However, the tyre supplier does state that the tyres in Belgium do not reach the peaks as they do at Suzuka or Silverstone.

Pirelli has therefore decided not to include the hardest tyre compounds within the spectrum. The C2 will act as the hard tyre at Spa-Francorchamps, the C3 will be the medium tyre and the C4 will act as the soft tyre. The tyre supplier will also bring intermediates and full wets, of course. These could still come in handy, as there is a 50 per cent chance of rain on Friday for now, according to Weather.com. On Saturday, this is even 80 per cent. During the race, dry weather tyres will probably just be used. Then the chance of rain is 20 per cent.
