Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff is very happy with the results of Mick Schumacher's Alpine test. Wolff is enthusiastic after his test.

Jack Doohan and Schumacher appear to be two major candidates when it comes to the seat at Alpine that will become vacant next year. Esteban Ocon is retiring from the team after this season, so will have to find another employer. Both Doohan and Schumacher claim a spot on the grid in the premier class of motorsport in the 2025 season. In any case, Wolff was positive about Schumacher's test.
"As far as I know from Alpine it was a super test," opined the Mercedes team principal to the German branch of Sky Sports. "He really delivered, I am also happy about that. That's the message I got. They are super happy, but that was to be expected," Wolff continued. Bruno Famin mentioned in the UK that Doohan and Schumacher are one of the options to become Pierre Gasly's teammate in the future.
