On Monday after the British Grand Prix, GPblog was already able to confirm that Cardile would be going to Aston Martin, only there was still uncertainty about his exact position. It is now clear that the Italian will start work at Silverstone as Chief Technical Officer.

"Enrico Cardile will join the team in 2025 as F1 Chief Technical Officer in a new role which further strengthens the senior technical group at the Silverstone-based team. Enrico brings a wealth of Formula One experience to Aston Martin Aramco. He was formerly Technical Director Chassis and Aerodynamics at Ferrari," reads the statement from Aston Martin.
