Antonelli drops out after incident in F2 feature race at Silverstone
Andrea Kimi Antonelli impressed yesterday by impressively winning a soaking wet sprint race to his liking in Formula 2. But the Italian had less luck at the start of the feature race. He was tagged on his rear wheel on entry to the first corner on the first lap and thus crashed out.
Invicta Racing driver Kush Maini seemingly braked too late for the first corner and therefore could not avoid a touché with Antonelli. Unlike Antonelli, Maini is still driving around. But the Indian did fall to the back of the grid after the contact.
Tough luck for Antonelli
The retirement is a tough one for Antonelli, who impressed on Saturday by winning the sprint race at Silverstone. The Mercedes junior drove eight seconds away from his main rivals in just a few laps.

Superb start for Bearman
Antonelli's teammate, Oliver Bearman, however, did have a great start to the feature race. The Briton was quick off the line, and jumped up to second place immediately in his home Grand Prix.
