British F3 driver wins home race at Silverstone

After a postponed session due to rain on Saturday morning, the Formula 3 sprint race started at 18:00 at Silverstone. Unlike the morning, the weather was now beautifully sunny. The race saw several safety cars and crashes. Arvid Lindblad eventually won the race.
Noel Leon started the sprint race from first place, but he soon lost this position to Arvid Lindblad. The Red Bull junior started from second place and drove straight into the lead thanks to a good start. Matias Zagazeta started the sprint race from third place.
Victory for Lindblad
The sprint race at Silverstone featured several safety cars. The first virtual safety car took place due to a piece of tyre on the track from Santiago Ramos. The first full safety car of the race was caused by Max Esterson and Oliver Goethe. The two hit each other and both ended up in the gravel.
Luke Browning, the championship leader, fell all the way back towards the end of the race when he was hit by Tim Tramnitz. As a result, he scored no points in this sprint race in England.
In the end, Arvid Lindblad dragged the sprint victory. This moved the Red Bull junior up to third place in the championship. Noel Leon who started from pole position finished in second place. Matias Zagazeta started from third position and finished in third place.
