During the 60th round of the IndyCar Detroit Grand Prix, Arrow McLaren driver Theo Pourchaire had some contact with Argentine Agustin Canapino. On X, the Frenchman made a shocking revelation about hate and even death threats he received after the contact during the Detroit Grand Prix.

Pourchaire calls on people to be nice

"I am sorry to have received so much hate and death threats in the last 24 hours for such a small incident at the Detroit GP. I hope people understand that we are all human and can make mistakes. But it is not normal to insult people online. Please be nice to each other."

Canapino likens strange post on X

Canapino, with whom Pourchaire had the incident on the track, liked a message on X with the slogan: 'Callum Pourchaire'. Callum refers to former teammate Callum Ilott who also received death threats for a race strategy that jeopardised Canapino's race.
