Ferrari has brought seven updates to the Grand Prix weekend in Imola. So far, these adjustments seem to be working. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who topped the timings in both of Friday's practice sessions, looks back positively on his Friday in Imola.

Ferrari has been the second-fastest team all season behind Red Bull. In Italy, it looks like Ferrari's chances of winning have increased. During both free practice sessions, Charles Leclerc finished at the top of the timesheet.

Upgrades working as expected

The Monegasque is feeling good about his Friday at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. Everything went according to schedule for the Scuderia. "It has been a positive day overall. Everything went smoothly and we ran all the tests we planned on track."

As Sergio Perez also pointed out, different weather forecasts are scheduled for Saturday, compared to what was seen on Friday. Qualifying may well go differently than expected. "We seem to be pretty competitive for now, however, the conditions will change quite a bit tomorrow, especially in terms of the wind, so we will have to anticipate that. The updates seem to be working as expected, which is another positive. It was great to see so many red flags in the grandstands," said Leclerc, who will be hoping to provide the Tifosi with a victory at the first of two home races for Ferrari this year.
