Ralf Schumacher sees ideal move for Verstappen: 'Would fit in well there'

Until recently, Max Verstappen seemed to be in a good place at Red Bull Racing. The situation has been slightly more difficult in recent weeks. There were already rumours surrounding a possible switch to Mercedes. Analyst Ralf Schumacher tells Sky Sports Germany that he thinks the triple world champion is a good fit at Mercedes.
With all the chaos at Red Bull Racing, Verstappen is said to be considering leaving the team, especially during this dominant period. The Dutchman has been linked to Mercedes, where Lewis Hamilton's departure has freed up a seat. Toto Wolff already revealed that he would like Verstappen to join his team.
Verstappen to Mercedes?
Schumacher's brother, racing legend Michael Schumacher, is also convinced Verstappen would fit in well at Mercedes. "Max speaks German. So it is a very, very good alternative for him. He would fit in well with the team, especially with his personality."
However, Schumacher also sees an obstacle on the way: "Theoretically, Verstappen has to get out of his contract first. Of course, Dr Helmut Marko could also do that, because his contract is practically linked to Max's. I also don't think they would still stand in his way at Red Bull if he wanted to leave."
