Horner refuses to talk about investigation during press conference
Now that the F1 season has started again, there are of course plenty of media moments with all the figures in Formula 1. For instance, Red Bull Racing team principal also joined the press conference in Bahrain. He just cannot and will not say anything about the ongoing investigation.
Red Bull launched an internal independent investigation into the race team's team principal Christian Horner a few weeks ago. While there have been plenty of rumours and speculation coming out in recent weeks, the conclusions of the investigation are awaited.
Horner cannot say anything about ongoing investigation
During the press conference in Bahrain on the second day of testing, Horner was felt on the hand of the journalists present. Naturally, they were frequently asked about the ongoing investigation and the rumours going around. Horner kept his lips firmly sealed this time and did not release anything about the investigation. "As you're well aware, there's a process going on which I form part of. But as I form part of that process, I'm afraid I cannot comment on it."
He was also asked about when clarity would come about the investigation, but the team boss could not say anything about that either. "Look, I'm dreadfully sorry but I really can't comment on the process or the time scale. I think obviously everybody would like a conclusion as soon as possible but I'm really not at liberty to comment about the process."
