    Max Verstappen set the tone on the first day of the winter test in Bahrain. In both the morning and the afternoon, the Dutchman was the fastest man on track and he ended the day more than a second ahead of the rest. He will be back in action on Thursday afternoon.     The winter test at the Bahrain International Circuit is also split into two sessions on Thursday. The first cars are allowed onto the track at 10:00 local time (8:00 CET/7:00 UK time), and testing ends at 14:00 local time (12:00 CET/11:00 UK time). The afternoon session starts at 15:00 Bahrain time (13:00 CET/12:00 UK time) and ends four hours later at 19:00 local time (17:00 CET/16:00 UK time).

    Sergio Perez's turn to take a seat in the RB20 comes in the morning session, while Lewis Hamilton will take a seat behind the wheel of Mercedes' W15. On Thursday afternoon, Verstappen will swap places with his teammate again. Meanwhile, Hamilton will take the entire test day after George Russell did the same on Wednesday. Logan Sargeant will also drive all day.
