'Female Red Bull colleague drags Horner to court'
The internal independent investigation into Christian Horner is still the topic of the day. After The Dutch De Telegraaf dropped a new bombshell of information a few days back, F1-Insider now reports that the case will move to court.
De Telegraaf first broke the news that Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner had alleged inappropriate behaviour. Red Bull then announced in a statement that it had launched an internal independent investigation. Then, a few days ago, the Dutch newspaper revealed that it would involve the team principal sending sexually oriented messages. In addition, Horner is said to have offered a sum equivalent to 650.000 pounds to keep the issue quiet.
The internal Red Bull investigation is still ongoing. After an eight-hour conversation with an external lawyer, no conclusions have yet been drawn. Results from the investigation are expected to be shared with the public next week.
'Horner in court?'
According to F1-Insider, Red Bull's internal investigation is still not enough. The female colleague at Red Bull Racing who has accused Horner of the transgressive behaviour has launched a lawsuit against the team principal, according to their information. The amount of money Horner had offered has therefore been rejected.
