The Red Bull Junior Team is relentless. In particular, the leader of the junior programme, Helmut Marko, has a reputation for his razor-sharp honesty. Formula 2 driver Jak Crawford talks about his experience with the Red Bull Racing adviser.

Marko certainly does not mince his words. Every now and then this gets Red Bull's top adviser into trouble: in 2023, for instance, he made generalising remarks about Sergio Perez's Mexican heritage.
At the same time, that rock-hard honesty is exactly what makes the 80-year-old Austrian so valuable to his team. Jak Crawford, who until recently was part of Red Bull Racing's training programme, tells the Track Limits podcast about his experience with Marko.
"He is a very interesting character. He is very straight to the point. He's very honest and sometimes very bluntly honest, just telling it literally how it is. So yeah, he's an interesting guy but he does, when he puts faith in drivers, he does put a lot of faith in that, you know, those certain few drivers," the DAMS driver said.
