Marko clarifies his future at Red Bull Racing

There has been a lot of speculation lately about Helmut Marko's future at Red Bull Racing. The 80-year-old Austrian himself said he did not know what his future looked like either, but now he is providing clarity after a meeting with Red Bull bosses.
Marko to stay at Red Bull
It is a question that was mostly asked after the death of Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz: is there still room for Marko, or is the top advisor heading towards retirement? The answer to that question is provided by Marko himself, who confirms that he is not going anywhere for the time being.
The scheduled meeting with Red Bull's top brass has thus shed light on the future of the man from Graz. "Yes, in a positive sense. Everything is going as planned," he explains to OE24. Marko will thus face a record 24 races on the Formula 1 calendar in 2024.
"Yes, but that is not a stress for me. If I said it's crazy, it would be difficult. But I tell myself: Australia is beautiful, I'm looking forward to travelling to Melbourne. I am doing my job for Red Bull Racing from Friday 11am until Sunday evening, and I am looking forward to it," said the ever-motivated Marko.
