Son of Rubens Barrichello shares nice anecdote about Verstappen

Eduardo Barrichello, son of former Formula 1 driver Rubens, has shared a funny anecdote about Max Verstappen. The Brazilian encountered Verstappen during a game of racing on the virtual iRacing. Initially, Barrichello Jr. did not believe it was the Red Bull Racing driver.
'Dudu' Barrichello is now 21 years old, but in the Traduzindo F1 podcast, he remembers his 'encounter' of over four years with Verstappen. "When I was 17 years old, I was sitting on the simulator, like basically every other day. Then suddenly Max Verstappen came into the lobby I was in and I shouted : 'Oh my God, that's cool'! I was number one at that moment, until he came in and he was over a tenth faster."
Isn't it a 'fake' Verstappen?
It was also not lost on the Dutchman that he was up against Rubens Barrichello's son. "He sent me a message asking if I needed a set-up, and I replied in the affirmative. But I didn't believe it was Verstappen, why would he send me anything? He sent me the set-up, the differences were small and we chatted all day."
To verify he was not fooled, Eduardo thought of something at the end of the day. "I said to him, 'If this is really you, send me a message on Instagram' and less than two minutes later he sent me a message."
As far as his father, Eduardo Barrichello is not going to make it. In 2021, he made the move from US racing to Europe. He raced in the Formula Regional championship there that year and in 2022, but he failed to impress there to the extent that he managed to advance to Formula 3. He now races domestically in the Stock Car Pro Series.
