Besides McLaren driver Lando Norris, Red Bull Racing is also said to be interested in snaring Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko recently called Norris "by far the strongest of the young drivers". Leclerc is not the oldest either and seems to be in the interest of the Austrian racing stable. This could also appeal to Liberty Media.

Liberty Media would love to see a teammate to rival Max Verstappen at Red Bull Racing. That way, despite the dominance of one Formula 1 team, the Formula 1 season could still be exciting, Formul1a.uno reports .

Norris or Leclerc at Red Bull Racing alongside Verstappen?

  1. Norris is still fixed at McLaren until 2025, so he would have to be bought out to take an early seat in Red Bull Racing's car. Marko previously mentioned the escape clause there might be in Leclerc's contract.

Earlier, there were rumours of driver changes at Red Bull Racing due to Sergio Perez not quite performing as he should. The Mexican would then be replaced by Daniel Ricciardo next season, but that now remains to be seen after the Australian took over Nyck de Vries ' seat at AlphaTauri.
