Verstappen unveils new helmet design for 2023

Max Verstappen has a new design for his helmet for 2023. On the official website of the Dutchman explains the choices behind the new design.
In many ways, the design is similar to last year's. Of course, the roaring lion still adorns the top of the helmet. However, there are also clear differences: now that Verstappen has partnered with EA Sports and Heineken 0.0, both brands also adorn the two-time world champion's helmet. A new colour scheme has also been chosen and the glitter has disappeared from the helmet.
"As you can see, we have used different colours from last year, with red and blue ," Verstappen explained. "I have chosen a more old-school design, with some lines and without the glitter. I'm going back to my roots a bit."
'There's a second star on the back now'
"We have a few new partners, as you can see. That's always very nice," Verstappen continued. "The back of my helmet is quite sleek and open. That makes the helmet look good, I like the colours. On the back is a little update, a second star. I'm looking forward to adding a few more stars, but at the moment I'm happy with these two! I am very happy with the end result of my new helmet."
