Alfa Romeo announces 2023 car launch date
- GPblog.com
It was just announced that Alfa Romeo will unveil its 2023 car in Zurich on February 7th. The Swiss team is the second-to-last to announce its presentation date, the only one that has not yet done so being Haas.
The new car will be called 'C43' and will hopefully have a better track record than last year's car. Drivers Guanyu Zhou and Valtteri Bottas managed to produce some good results, although Alfa did struggle with reliability issues throughout the season. In the end, they still finished sixth in the constructors' championship, which is a positive given for the future.
New team boss
The two drivers will stay on next season, but team boss Frederic Vasseur has made the move to Ferrari in the hope of getting them up and running again after Mattia Binotto's departure. Who will be the new team boss at Alfa is as yet unknown - though it was announced that Andreas Seidl will become CEO of parent company Sauber.
The date you’ve been looking for.
