Drama for virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans: suspected security breach
- GPblog.com
The virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans continues to experience problems, the organisers announced on their Twitter channel. A security problem is likely to be the reason the race organisers keep having to wave the red flag.
Earlier in the evening, the race was halted due to technical problems. The organisers worked hard behind the scenes to resume the online edition of Le Mans, which eventually succeeded. Soon, however, the situation returned.
"Unfortunately, the two servers used for the 24 Hours of le mans virtual had a suspected security leak," the organisers stated. "We are now taking the necessary measures to improve security and will aim to resume the race as soon as possible." Max Verstappen is one of the participants in the event.
