Verstappen on enthusiastic fans: 'That's the most important thing!'

Nothing beats a few donuts in a slightly cramped street surrounded by fans. That is exactly what Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are doing today in Milton Keynes. After the first run of the day, the two commented on their experiences for the camera of Viaplay.
Perez is just coming off the track when Tom Coronel asks if he has any tips for Max (who takes his turn after him). “It was really tight, narrow there, and, but it’s a lot of people and it’s nice to see their faces. Been so happy out there, so. It’s a massive day for the team you know.”
That it is a big day for the team is because the event is being organised in Milton Keynes, city of the Red Bull Racing factory. Many employees and their families live there, and so they have flocked to the runs.
Donuts and fans
Perez and Verstappen both make a lot of donuts. “Yeah I was having a lot of fun,” said the Mexican. The Dutchman says: "Yes, I was close to the limit a few times, say of the water temperature." He also indicates that the road was slippery and bumpy. "It is of course [also] quite tight but fortunately it is manageable. A few times with braking I blocked [causing] [me] to almost overshoot to the next route, but is fun!" he laughs. Everyone was excited, and "that's the most important thing!"
Team boss Christian Horner also praised the fans' enthusiasm. “It’s great to see the support for the team. It’s good to come and give something back.”
