Verstappen gets best driver award for second year in a row

Max Verstappen won the International Racing Driver of the Year award at Autosport's major event. Red Bull Racing was also among the winners, as were many others.
Sunday night was the annual event of Autosport.com where awards are handed out over the past year's motorsport season. Verstappen received the most votes for the award as best driver of the year, finishing ahead of the other nominees Charles Leclerc, IndyCar champion Will Power and Formula E champion Stoffel Vandoorne.
Awards for F1 drivers
Verstappen won the award for the second year in a row. He also won the title in 2021 when he captured his first world title in F1. Max was unable to receive the award himself, as the Dutchman is enjoying his holiday and left a video message thanking him.

Verstappen was not the only F1 driver to receive an award. For instance, Guanyu Zhou received the award for best Rookie in 2022, Red Bull Racing received the award for the best car with the RB18, Lewis Hamilton received the award for best British driver, George Russell won an award for moment of the year with his victory in Brazil and Sebastian Vettel received a kind of oeuvre award.
