Vettel feels double by Hulkenberg's return: 'That hurts me'

Sebastian Vettel is happy to see Nico Hulkenberg return to Formula 1, but still holds mixed feelings about it. After all, Vettel sees Mick Schumacher leaving the sport because of Hulkenberg's arrival.
Vettel is leaving Formula 1 after an impressive career. In Abu Dhabi, the German spoke about that career with none other than Hulkenberg. Whereas Vettel is leaving the sport, Hulkenberg is actually returning after a three-season absence. Haas appoints Hulkenberg, where he will replace Schumacher.
Vettel happy for Hulkenberg
Sky Germany put the two drivers together to talk about the other. Thus, The Hulk was very complimentary of Vettel, who Nico said is the glue that holds all F1 drivers together. Vettel was flattered by Hulkenberg's nice words and states that he is also very happy for Nico that he can return to F1.
Seb's feeling, however, is mixed. After all, he sees Mick losing his place to Nico and it is no secret that Vettel is very close to the Schumacher family. ''Of course it hurts me for the Mick [Schumacher] because I'm very close to the Mick, but happy for him to be back on the grid because I think Nico is one of the drivers who has absolute potential.''
''Every time he's in the car he's shown it and maybe, here and there, he wasn't in the right car at the right time. And that can happen to all of us. It could have happened to me and then maybe my career would have been a bit different,'' concluded the four-time world champion.
