Max Verstappen's long trip to Japan for the Honda Thank Day was certainly not in vain. The world champion got behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car there for the last time this year and he received a nice present.
With tens of thousands of fans in the stands, Honda chief Seiji Kuraichi expressed his immense appreciation for Verstappen's two world titles with the Honda-powered Red Bull. He then handed the Dutchman the keys to a grey Honda NSX Type S, as an added bonus for his achievements.

Verstappen was obviously delighted with his latest acquisition. "What an incredible gift, what a great car. I am very proud to get this one, so thank you very much for that," commented Verstappen. Immediately afterwards, the Dutchman was given the opportunity to briefly race around the circuit with this car.
