Before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel performed their promised helmet change, with both drivers leaving a personal message for each other. Here is what they wrote to each other.

Vettel's message is a bit longer than Verstappen's, but that also suits the different personalities of the two world champions. "Impressive to see you coming up and go past. Well done and best wishes. Always think for yourself and keep going. Enjoy!" reads the message from the outgoing Aston Martin driver.

Verstappen also left a personal message on his helmet before giving it to Vettel. As we have come to expect from the Dutchman, he kept it short but sweet. "Danke Seb, you are a legend forever!", he wrote on the visor. Recently, Verstappen shared a story about Vettel that will stay with him forever.
