Fans welcome during the second 2022 winter test in Bahrain

While fans are not yet welcome during the first winter test in Barcelona, the organisation of the Bahrain International Circuit has announced that fans are welcome during the second winter test.
The Formula 1 season will, in all likelihood, have to deal with the coronavirus again in 2022. It will therefore differ per country and per circuit if and how many fans are allowed to be present. Under the current rules, for example, it is now not permitted to admit fans during the Dutch Grand Prix, but Silverstone would be allowed to have full capacity.

This also plays a role during the winter tests. Normally the winter tests, especially in Barcelona, are a cheaper and accessible way to get acquainted with the sport. In Barcelona this year, however, no fans are allowed on the circuit and there are no live pictures of this test. That will only follow in Bahrain.
In Bahrain, a week before the start of the season, a winter test will also be held. From March 10 to 12 the drivers will have three more days to test their new car and here the fans are welcome. Live footage of this test will also be available and the three-day test will probably be shown on F1TV. Viaplay also announced that it will go live for the first time this weekend.
