Red Bull bids farewell to RB18 with special 'love letter'

Red Bull Racing won no less than 17 of the 22 Grands Prix in 2022 with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The Milton Keynes-based racing team took home the world title in both drivers and constructors. As the eyes turn to the new season, Red Bull is officially saying goodbye to the RB18.

The 2022 season was an unprecedented year for Red Bull. At the beginning of the year, the title fight seemed to be against Ferrari, but in the end Verstappen and his team managed to win both world titles in dominant fashion. The Italian team made too many mistakes and the reliability of the car was not up to scratch.

Red Bull says goodbye to RB18

With Christmas behind us, it is time to count down to the new year. Red Bull has already been busy developing its new car, the RB19, in recent weeks. In the new year, the team will present the car.

Before that happens, however, Red Bull will first say goodbye to the RB18 along with some invisible but incredibly important engineers. Behind the scenes, as many as 1,400 people contributed to its success in 2022. Six members of the team say goodbye to the RB18 in the new video.
