Max Verstappen said earlier that Red Bull Racing really need to find something tonight, otherwise things aren't looking too good for the Turkish Grand Prix. The Dutchman is hopeful that there is more to come, however, and he also sees himself benefiting from the grid penalty imposed on title rival Lewis Hamilton.

"It looks like we have a lot to go through this evening because today wasn’t the best of days," the Red Bull driver said in a press release. "Hopefully we can make some improvements before tomorrow's qualifying, because we are facing some challenges."

Windfall in the form of grid penalty Hamilton

A windfall for Red Bull is the grid penalty hanging over Lewis Hamilton's head, but Verstappen isn't too concerned about that. "Of course, Lewis is taking a penalty on Sunday but we have to focus on ourselves. I’m just looking forward to the rest of the weekend and getting back out there on track," said the Dutchman.
