Red Bull Racing not only took the Grand Prix victory in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix but also the prize for fastest pit stop. The Austrian team completed Max Verstappen's pit stop in less than two seconds.

The four tyres of Verstappen's RB16B were changed in 1.98 seconds, good for the second time of the season. Only in Bahrain was a Formula 1 racing driver able to complete a pit stop faster. Then too it was Red Bull. The Milton Keynes based team is again doing well in the classification of the DHL Fastest Pitstop.

Nearest competitor Williams took 18 points, while Mercedes did not have a good Sunday in the pitlane of the Baku City Circuit either. Both Lewis Hamilton's and Valtteri Bottas' pitstop was not good for a place in the top-ten. Alfa Romeo Racing did however perform better than usual with second and fifth places.

Hamilton's pit stop was significantly slower after the seven-time World Champion was forced to wait for Pierre Gasly clear the pit lane.
