In the not too distant past, Red Bull did not hesitate for a moment when Helmut Marko found it necessary to make a driver change. This is how Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat ended up at AlphaTauri. Connoisseurs bear in mind that the curtain will soon fall for Alexander Albon as well.

"He drove very badly this weekend," is the first conclusion of Nico Rosberg at Sky Sports. "He was slow and made a lot of mistakes and that's the opposite of what he needs at the moment."

Gasly better than Albon at the moment

"He needs good results to secure his seat and from today it does not look like he will be there next year, which is a pity because he is so sympathetic and we know he can drive well."

According to Rosberg, Red Bull doesn't even need to think long about a replacement: "I would bring in Gasly with the performance he is currently delivering. You also have Perez, but that's not the optimal solution you want, but it has to be between those two."
