Lewis Hamilton was in central London on Sunday to protest against racism. The Mercedes driver had the Black Lives Matter's battle very high and the six-time world champion backed up his words by joining the crowd.

On his Instagram account Hamilton published a photo of himself on which his face is covered with a bandana, sunglasses and hat. Furthermore, the Brit is wearing a t-shirt with the text: 'black is a vibe'. Hamilton then also put a video online on which he is walking through the streets of London protesting.

Hamilton calls out

Hamilton also writes on social media: "Your silence is still deafening. You may not be racist in your silence but we need you to be ANTI-racist.
“That means we need you to educate yourself and others. Speak out to help us bring awareness to the injustices and prejudices that black people and people of colour face on a daily basis, and have been facing for hundreds of years."

Hamilton repeats that everyone's voice is needed and that people should dare to step out of their comfort zone. During the first Grand Prix weekend in Austria from the 3th till the 5th of July, Valtteri Bottas' teammate will probably also stand for Black Lives Matter.
