Timo Glock expects Red Bull Racing, Ferrari and Mercedes to be very close during the Austrian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen has an important advantage according to the German.

After the British Grand Prix there is hope again for Mercedes. Not only did Lewis Hamilton score a fine third place, but his pace seemed good enough to compete for victory. In his column for Sky Germany Glock therefore expects the top three teams to be very close in Spielberg.

Excitement in Austria

"That's why I'm looking forward to Spielberg, because it will be exciting between these three teams on such a short circuit. It will only get closer together because of that and I am really looking forward to that,'' said the former Formula One driver. Yet Verstappen has won three of the last four Grands Prix in Austria for good reason.

"We must not forget Red Bull, because they are always strong at the Red Bull Ring. Verstappen will also drive in front of an 'orange wall' again, because it looks like half the Netherlands will be there again. It will be a great atmosphere. That was the case all weekend at Silverstone as well," concluded the German.
