Three Formula One teams have broken the curfew at the Imola circuit for the time being. Mercedes, Red Bull Racing and Williams needed more time to make all preparations than is within the rules of the regulations. Penalties have not been handed out.

Mercedes already broke the curfew on Wednesday, while Red Bull and Williams did so on Thursday. On Wednesdays, night work is allowed eight times per season, while on Thursdays it is six times. All teams committed their first "overrun" in Italy, so there is nothing to worry about yet.

Breaking the curfew does not necessarily indicate problems that need to be fixed before the first free practice. It could also be that the cargo was slightly delayed, which meant that teams could only start unpacking and starting up all the equipment needed during a Grand Prix weekend later.
